Some People
say we’re
untraditional
although we lead unconventional lives, We keep many traditions—they’re just a bit… untraditional. Some might come in the form of baseball superstitions such as wearing your baseball cap upside down when your team is losing or never leaving a game early. In that same spirit, instead of a typical wedding, we’re having a non-traditional celebration filled with many of our favorite traditions.

Civil Ceremony — 4:15 P.M.
Historic 1910 Harris County Courthouse
301 Fannin St, Houston, TX 77002 // RSVP
As two people who have careers in music, who met through music, and are constantly surrounded by musicians, we know the power of song. Music is an important part of our relationship, and it’s only fitting that it plays a central role in our wedding celebration.
Our ceremony will be held on the 10-year anniversary of our friendship, the day we met a decade prior. We will have a short vow exchange & civil ceremony on the steps of the historic 1910 Harris County Courthouse. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:15 PM.
Following the ceremony, a brass band will lead our party five blocks down to the Center Field gates of Daikin Park (formerly Minute Maid Park) where we will celebrate our joyful union with a reception in the field level suite.
Parking: Nearby covered paid public parking available at 1019 Congress Street. Many surface lots within 3 blocks of the courthouse as well as paid street parking where available.
If you are joining us for both the post-ceremony parade and the ballgame, we highly recommend using a rideshare service.
Dress: semi-formal. If you are also attending the ballgame, We warmly encourage guests to wear Astros colors by incorporating shades of navy blue and orange.
Details are subject to change. Updates regarding the ceremony may be sent via e-mail to all guests who RSVP.

Our “Wedding March”
We will be starting our “Mendelssohn” wedding march from the steps of the courthouse, making our way towards the center field gates of Daikin Park (Formerly Minute Maid Park).
Our route takes us southwest along Preston Street for five blocks (about an 8-minute walk). Just follow the sound of our brass band as we make our way!
Please stay mindful of traffic and cross the streets with care as we celebrate.

Farewell Brunch: Crawfish Boil —
1 P.M. - 4 P.M.
When we met, Nat was hosting her annual crawfish boil on a party barge on Lake Travis, with Greg performing in the brass band she hired—it was the first meal we ever shared. Crawfish quickly became a cornerstone of our relationship, and we now have many cherished traditions around it. Each season, we celebrate by attending as many boils as possible with friends and family. Every year, we make a stop at our all-time favorite spot, Chicken on the Bayou in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. And to this day, Nat continues the tradition of hosting an annual crawfish boil.
all are welcome to join us for our Farewell Brunch: a crawfish boil the afternoon after the ceremony.
